Touristagency - overview by Myana Touristagency - overview by Myana
The touristagency of my city, Örebro (Sweden) is obtaining new premises and this a huuuge interior job a coworker and I have put over 1000 hours on.

Overview of all the work we made, you'll see the brochurestand, benches, display cases on the top photo
The reception desk and shop on the second
And the bench, displaycase and brochurestand again.

and that should be all photos of this interior :phew:

Sorry if the colors are a bit weird, the electricians were playing with the light while I was photographing, making it very hard to know what settings to use!

Material: ash, mdf, glass and laminate
Finish: varnish with white pigment on the ash and white varnish on the mdf

Interior architect: White

Thats a lot of work. Apart from the furniture, do you also do the wall and ceiling claddings?

It would be great to have a tutorial and terminology on the way you assemble a simple table/chair/desk.

Its such a nice thing for designers like me to see!

Great work!

It was!
no, I'm a cabinetmaker/woodworker and don't do walls and ceilings :) when doing big prjoects like this, there are always tons of other craftsmens included.

hmmm, I'll see if that's something I can do...

we had to bargain on the price to get the job - which is good PR but not much money.
hopefully this will get us more job which we can get rich on :D

Oh I understand. Happens all the time to me. I justify it as me advertising...
I am a noob in the knife industry and I don't have enough customers to be able to turn some away because they can't pay full price. I need the business and hopefully they will give me more business.

That is just amazing to see all together like that... I'm in awe, to be quite honest. Completely floored ~ I knew you were working on a big project, but I hadn't really realized the size of it all!

Now I have to visit my friend when she's in Sweden :D Although I still gotta find out where she'll be >__>;

:giggle: That is quite funny - sometimes, I guess you never know what you're getting yourself into - I definitely commend you guys, though, for it being so friggin' amazing, especially if the project was larger than you originally expected it to be.

That wall of brochure holders is just phenomenal in itself ~ I can't begin to imagine doing all of those!

that almost gives me chills thinking about how only two people did this. If you hadn't said that I would have thought a whole crew had produced this, wow. It's a gem, a masterpiece. :worship:
