Certainly a piece I would love to have in my home; the "clippers" are a great addition and as the suggester states, "What's so striking about this piece is the stunning convex door and that the only reason she didn't get a perfect mark was for minor things, like being off by only 3/10 of a millimeter around the drawers. 3/10 of a millimeter ?!?!"

This is my masterpiece and my pride!
In Sweden it is tradition to do a furniture, a masterpice that will be judged and graded, as a final exam.
This tradition goes way back in the 15th century, and then you couldn't open your own joinery/ carpentry before doing your masterpiece. It not as strict anymore, but the diploma you get if you pass shows and guarantees to your future customers a certain level of craftmansship.

This is beautiful! is that a veneer? What kind of wood and finish did you use to get the grain to pop like that?
